Is this evidence of a big cat?
This picture was taken from an undisclosed location in the west of Scotland. It is part of an ongoing investigation into a area where, over a number of years, there have been numerous sightings of large cats, and the occasional livestock attack. This cat is estimated to be almost 3 foot in body length. Measurements of the tree branch and comparison photographs taken on site confirm this size.

It certainly is one of the best pictures that I have seen. Also considering the recent sightings in the area and the sheep depradations, along with measurements taken at the scene; I believe it to be a very good picture of an alien feline in Scotland.
ReplyDeleteAlthough in my view some kind of measuring sticks, marker poles are needed. I await with hope for more pictures from the area. Keep up the good work!
This reminds me a lot of the cougars that I tracked in the mountain deserts of Oregon especially the tail.I think its probably more related to the clouded and snow leopard the mountain lion. Very close to the big cats, but not quiet there. I'm curious what you guys think. Keep placing trail cameras. A clearer picture will come soon!
